Recipes I'm making for Memorial Day Weekend

Hello friend!

Memorial Day Weekend always feels like the unofficial start of summer recipes, and I could not be more excited!

We’re keeping things simple around here - Ms. A is visiting home from college, my sister is coming from Dubai, potluck with friends, and maybe even the first pool day of the season. And of course, I’ll be making dusting off our grill, and plenty of delicious summer favorites to keep the good vibes going all weekend long.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

1. The Best Summer Salad

To me, it’s not truly a summer weekend unless this salad makes an appearance on the table. It has my favorite combination of flavors—fresh, tangy, salty, and absolutely delicious!

2. Crispy Smashed Potato Salad with Chaat Inspired Flavors

These flavors always have everyone coming back for seconds. As you can see, charred or grilled corn might be my favorite summer flavor.

3. Masala Chicken Burgers

Say goodbye to bland chicken burgers. I love this one for a crowd. So easy and Indian inspired flavors that hit all the right spots. Upgrade the recipe by slathering my cottage cheese avocado dip on the bun! Absolute winner!!

4. Cottage Cheese Avocado Dip

I always keep a batch of this in the fridge, ready to be enjoyed outside whenever the mood strikes! If you are on the high-protein trend, you have to have this recipe memorized!

5. Individual Berry Shortcakes

The perfect Memorial Day or July 4th dessert, IMO. Fresh summer berries, with easy whipped cream and homemade biscuits....so good!

PS. I always appreciate your comments and ratings if you make a new recipe and love it! 🙏❤️THANK YOU!! These recipe ratings on the site help others to find the recipes that are most popular and well-loved!

Love,

Vaishali
